Each well of the E-Gel should be filled with 20 μL. For wells that you don't use,
fill with 20 μL of distilled water. For restriction digests,
prepare 20 μL samples as follows:
Restriction Digests: Combine 6 μL of the restriction digest,
3 μL of 6X loading dye and 11 μL of dH2O.
These volumes can be combined on a small sheet of parafilm. Offset and stagger
so that there is limited chance they can run into each other. Samples can be
loaded directly from this sheet to the gel.
